In association with Caulfield RSL and RSL Active, we are inviting veterans and their families for a twilight sailing session.

 

No previous sailing experience is necessary and we will provide boats, lifejackets, basic instruction and on-water supervision. Children over 6 years are welcome to attend and sail with their parents. Our dinghies are easy to operate and stable - they will not capsize. Please wear comfortable clothing which may get splashed (but not wet) and rubber soled shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen and water.

 

Docklands Yacht Club is located in the Community Boating Hub, 912 Collins Street (bottom of Collins & Bourke Streets) adjacent to the Dock Library.  Parking is limited so public transport is highly recommended. Victoria Harbour stop is the last stop on tram routes 11 and 48 and then it is a short walk to the Boating Hub. There are accessible and ambulent toilets, showers and lockers available within the Club as well as a secure pushbike storage area.
