Christine on the podium in NSW

by DYC

Rear Commodore Christine Elliott has done us proud with a second place finish at the NSW Hansa Class Championships.

Teaming up with Allister Peek from the ACT to sail in the 303 doubles, the pair beat home 12 other teams to claim the silver medal behind NSW sailors Colin and Brad Alderton.

Sailing consistently in her preferred yellow boat, they won the 6th race of the Championships, with their worst result being 5th in the 14 boat field.

Christine will miss this weekend's Short Course Racing, where she is currently in the lead in the 303 singles, so there is a chance she will be overtaken by sailors this weekend.

Well done!
