Short Course winners crowned
With the completion of the 2015/16 Docklands Yacht Club Short Course series, the winners in each of the divisions have been crowned.
This year's Short Course Series was interrupted by our move to the new building and several dates had to be postponed, but 14 races were completed for the Hansa 2.3 division and 24 for the Hansa 303 and Liberty.
In the closest racing, Louis Patterson took out the 2.3 division by 1 point from Latrobe Valley's Mark Thorpe, with Cadeyrn Gaskin in third place.
In the Hansa 303 division,it was a run away win to Beck West, from last year's winner Christine Elliott with Latrobe Valley's Sarah and Craig Millsom in third place.
It was also a run away win in the Liberty fleet for Russell Phillips, from Shauna Phillips and Mike Bishop.
Thanks to our Race Officer David Staley for running the event again this year.
We look forward to announcing the dates for the 2016/17 Short Course Series soon.
